How to associate companies, contacts, and deals in HubSpot
HubSpot uses various objects to organize data for their CRM features. These objects include Deals, Companies, Contacts, and more. In order to get the most out of HubSpot, and make navigation as easy as possible, it's best practice to properly associate these objects in the system. For example, when you create a new deal, you should associate the company you're selling to with that deal. You can make multiple associations, which may come in handy if you're working with multiple people at the same company -- you can associate both of their contacts to the company object.

Managing Deal Properties in HubSpot
One of the greatest capabilities in HubSpot is the customization of properties on objects. You can add any property you would like to objects, along with taking advantage of the existing properties. When you create properties, HubSpot will also allow you to set rules and limitations for how the property can be used. And this can be done for Deals, Companies, Contacts, or any other object you work with in HubSpot.
